An established business to business services company wanted to improve poor delivery performance and halt escalating costs.
Core Partners worked with the client to quickly establish short-term controls to meet daily targets and stabilise the business. We then conducted a deeper performance assessment to identify the underlying causes of the loss in performance. This highlighted the requirement to strengthen the organisation and help the client remove a production backlog, both of which were impacting business performance.
The changes made to the organisational structure improved both performance management and recruitment issues, reducing temporary labour costs by 70% and radically improving output quality. The re-designed systems and cost control mechanisms also reduced the production backlog from 4 days to ½ day and improved the performance of the core processes by 30%.
